Could you use coconut oil in this?
I don’t see why not! Any oil should work. Let me know if you try it 🙂
Thank you will try this weekend sounds great for exfoliating and not expensive either.
Let me know what you think!
Oh this seems like a great cost effective scrub! I will have to try it out 🙂
Easy, cheap but soooo lux! Enjoy!
I like DIY beauty concoctions because they do not have those nasty chemicals and toxins added in. If I don’t have brown sugar could I use coconut sugar and coconut oil?
Absolutely! I think you can pretty much use whatever you have on hand. Let me know how it works
This looks great! I am going to try it. Thank you for sharing.
Let me know what you think!
Wow, I loved the recipe, I made one cocoa sugar and one green tea sugar scrub some time back. 🙂
Green tea would be awesome! I’m going to try that. Thanks 🙂
This sounds amazing. I’m gong to try this with Coconut Oil. Thanks so much. I’ll be sharing this around for you. Cheers.
Thanks Jeanne 😉
This looks great! I like diy recipes for skin care. They are so much more gentler, safer on skin and just as effective as the commercial types.
All natural!
Oh this is right up my alley!! I bet it smells divine. Must try! Thanks for linking up at the #smallvictoriessundaylinky! You’ve been pinned to the group board. 🙂
Thanks Katy! I’m so glad I found your link party.
This looks amazing and I bet it feels good. My problem is wanting to eat it before using for its intended purpose. Pinned again to our Small Victories Sunday linky board. Thanks for sharing with Small Victories Sunday linky. Hope you join us again, new linky starts tonight!
Lol! I can relate! Thanks and I will be back 🙂
Do you need to refrigerate this to keep oil from going bad? Thanks
Hi Melody,
Yes, I keep mine in the fridge and it probably lasts about 4 weeks or so. Let me know what you think.
Thanks,
Annette
I love how simple this recipe and the fact that it uses basic ingredients that I have on hand makes it a real winner!
That’s what I love about it! Plus, you can whip it up quickly if you need a last minute gift.
