About Annette Browning
Hello and Welcome!
My name is Annette Browning, the creator behind the FiberArtsy website. I am a long time fiber artist specializing in dyeing fabric and yarn as well as eco printing and feltmaking.
My grandmother taught me how to knit and crochet when I was just a child which began my journey into the world of textiles and fiber art.
When I started the FiberArtsy website, I owned a business creating my own line of wool and alpaca blended yarn that I then hand dyed and sold in independent yarn shops and fiber and art festivals. As part of my yarn business, I also taught feltmaking and nuno felting classes and workshops throughout Kentucky.
This website became the online presence for my yarn business and has since grown into a resource for all hand dyeing, felting and other textile art methods.
FiberArtsy is a one-woman business… I am the researcher, creator, maker, photographer, marketer of all the articles and tutorials as well as writer and publisher of the e-books on eco printing and bundle dyeing.
For any questions or comments, feel free to email me at admin(at)fiberartsy(dot)com.
Annette’s tutorials have been featured on Woman’s Day, Porch, AARP and The Quilt Show.
