Brown Sugar – Vanilla Body Scrub Recipe

Last week I shared with you my super yummy Lemon Sugar Scrub Recipe and I promised you the Brown Sugar & Vanilla Body Scrub so here it is.This scrub not only exfoliates your skin but it moisturizes at the same time. Plus, it’s made with all natural ingredients that you probably already have in your kitchen.

Ingredients:



Brown Sugar Vanilla Body Scrub, Fiberartsy.com


1 1/2 Cups Light Brown Sugar
1 Cup White Sugar
1 Cup Oil (your choice, Olive and Sunflower work well)
1 TB Pure Vanilla Essential Oil or Extract





You also need:

Sealable containers s.a. Mason or Canning Jars
Bowls, spoons, etc.

 

Mix it up:

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well. If the mixture is too dry, add a bit more oil. You want it moist but not soupy wet.


Spoon the scrub into a sealable container such as a mason jar and enjoy! Works great on the whole body and smells delicious!

  4. I like DIY beauty concoctions because they do not have those nasty chemicals and toxins added in. If I don’t have brown sugar could I use coconut sugar and coconut oil?

      Yes, I keep mine in the fridge and it probably lasts about 4 weeks or so. Let me know what you think.
