1cupself-rising flour
1cupgranulated sugar
1cupcanned fruit cocktaildo not drain; use juice as well
Butter or cooking spray for greasing the pan
Vanilla ice cream for servingoptional
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Generously grease an 8x8-inch baking dish with butter or nonstick cooking spray.
In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, and fruit cocktail (including juice).
Stir until well blended but do not over-mix. Make sure there are no clumps of flour.
Pour batter into the prepared pan and smooth out.
Bake in a preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes, or until lightly browned on top and edges are bubbling.
