Simple to say, but so hard to do! Life always seems to boil down to staying in the moment, right? Pushing away all of the daily stresses and mindless crap we have to do, to just be … just for a minute. When frustrations get the best of you, try to snap yourself out of it and realize that most of those things don’t really matter in the great scheme of things. What matters, is that you live and feel each moment as if it were your last. Again, so very hard to do when life comes falling down around you.

Author, Eckhart Tolle says “Always say ‘yes’ to the present moment… Surrender to what is. Say ‘yes’ to life – and see how life starts suddenly to work for you rather than against you”.

Being present doesn’t mean sitting on the couch and meditating. It means being aware of You, at that moment. If you are washing the dinner dishes, stop and feel the water… the soap. When you lounge on the beach in Malibu, look, really look at the water, taste the salt, feel the sand on your feet. Whatever it is you are doing, try and still your mind and just Breathe, Let Go, and appreciate the moment you have right now.
